Jennifer
Lang, Executive Director
As
the Executive Director of Colleagues International, Jennifer
Lang has developed training programs for more than 1,000
professionals from every continent. Jennifer
holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in music with a minor in
journalism from Western Michigan University. She is currently
a graduate student at WMU studying Non-Profit Leadership
Administration. Originally
from Jackson, Michigan, Jennifer moved to Kalamazoo in 1991
to attend WMU. She currently lives in Mattawan with her husband
Brian; her sons Justin and Joshua; and their dog Casey. She
is a member of the Kalamazoo Rotary Club.
In
May 2002, Jennifer led a delegation from Southwest Michigan
to Dniepropetrovsk, Ukraine. While in Dniepropetrovsk,
the group lived with host families provided by CI alumni.
In 2004, Jennifer participated in the Council of International
Fellowship International Conference in Bonn, Germany. It
is Jennifer's hope that CI can continue to promote international
understanding in Southwest Michigan and in the countries
from which CI exchange visitors are drawn. The response
received from around the world is evidence that CI and
the Greater Kalamazoo community are succeeding with this
important mission.
